Everglades Backcountry Fishing Report by Capt. Wright Taylor

Had Mark and Steve from Texas out last week and we did really well. Fishing has been really good the last couple of weeks. We had one day that we must have caught 20 reds, but being from Texas, we didn’t take any pics of them. Then the next day we went into the backcountry of the Everglades and caught a pile of Snook and several small tarpon. Neither of them had caught Snook or Tarpon before, so we checked those off the list, but not for good!
