Everglades Winter Fishing Report by Capt. Wright Taylor
Well, Winter has made it! It’s been in the 40’s a couple of times in the last few weeks. Now I know some of you may think, 40’s ain’t cold! You May be right if you live in Wisconsin, but when you live in Southwest Florida, that’s equivalent to freezing!
I had Bobby and Monica, from Texas, down in the Everglades and caught quite a few fish, but the cool thing was, we had a Snook, Tarpon and a Redfish, as well as a Speckled Trout and a Flounder. So not only did we have a Mega-Slam but all of that equates to an Everglades Slam and even a Texas Slam, just to make them feel right at home.
