Everglades Tarpon Season Concludes: Capt. Wright Taylor Transitions to Snook

Tarpon Season is officially over for me! I’ll have to say that I’m not upset about it at all. The last several weeks have been difficult. The season has had its moments of greatness for sure but I would have to rank this season towards the bottom. The weather was tough at times, we had no rain and the Everglades pretty much went dry and then there was this persistent south and west wind which is not great either. Anyways, with all of that, we still caught fish but I’m glad it’s over! Now, on to catch Snook, my number one favorite fish. And also at the end of June I leave for a hosted trip to Turneffe Island Belize to Turneffe Flats Lodge, that’ll be a nice break as well. I’ll report more later!
