Everglades Backcountry Fishing

Fished earlier this week, threw the fly rod, and caught a good number of Redfish and Snook. They were all small fish but at least the future looks bright. We did see some really nice ones but did not connect. Seemed like a clouser, in white, was the fly. Fished current around oyster bars and caught probably 15 or so Redfish and 15-20 Snook. Our largest red was about 15″ and out largest snook was about 18″. They would have been a blast on a 6 or 7 wt. Weather seems to be staying warm, Tarpon should be showing soon.
